Flavor Rubs

Cook’s Delight® Rubs add flavor, color, texture, and excitement to your foodservice recipes and menus. With their vibrant blend of spices, herbs, and seasonings they enhance the natural flavors of grilled, broiled, panfried, sautéed, and roasted meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables. Rub directly on to kick up the flavor or mix into breading or batter. They’re perfect for your warm weather barbecues and summer grilling!

Applying Rubs:

  • For vegetables or meats that are cut for kebabs, apply rub 15 minutes prior to cooking.
  • Leave rub on chicken breasts, chops, steaks, and fish for 15 to 30 minutes.
  • For larger cuts such as beef roasts or whole chickens, allow 45 to 90 minutes before cooking.
  • Apply to ribs or a whole turkey and let stand for 2 to 8 hours.
  • When cooking chicken with the skin on, place rubs under the skin .
  • Lightly scoring meat, poultry, and fish will help the rub flavors penetrate further.
